I love photos of my kids in their natural state, usually busy, playing near each other but not with each other always. I think that captures their relationship so well- separate but not alone. Often I'll be taking a photo of one and not realize that the other is in the frame, (incidentally I have no idea why N's eyes are closed- I think probably, based on her expression, I'm asking her to keep her eyes open- and she's ignoring me- and loving it).
